Millionaire’s Bacon

Whenever I go to brunch spots, I’m always ordering their millionaire’s bacon cause it’s so damm good! However, it is so overpriced ($10+ in SF for a side of it!!)

Trust me, making millionaire’s bacon is so easy, ingredients are cheap and it’ll end up tasting like brunch spots!

PREP TIME: 10 mins

BAKE TIME: 26 mins

SERVES: 2-3 people

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 slabs of thin cut bacon (thick works too but probably 3-4 slabs )

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp maple sugar

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (I used maple syrup from MinkDog)

Directions:

  1. Mix all the seasonings listed above and mix well!

  2. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the bacon.

  3. Bake the bacon at 350 for 20mins. Broil for 1-3 mins on each side (this really depends on how strong your oven is, I highly recommend watching when it broils so your bacon doesn’t burn)
